These solid rubber and durable straps feature the Join, or Die snake on the topside of the strap.
The “Join, or Die” cartoon, featuring a severed snake representing the American colonies, originated in 1754 during the French and Indian War. Created by Benjamin Franklin, it aimed to persuade the colonists to unite against French aggression and encourage British support for a unified colonial government. The cartoon’s message of unity resonated throughout American history, being reused in protests against British policies and during the American Revolutionary War.

ZULU STRAP DETAILS:
Zulu straps are classic single pass strap with a normal buckle and two steel keepers.
Benefits of a Zulu style strap:
No spring bar involved. Great for hardcore field use.
With the single pass design you will still have retention of your watch even if one spring bar fails.
Easier to use a compass with the strap.
