It’s 1965 and you’re cruising up the Mekong River Delta at night. You need to blackout your watch dial…Hardcore dudes used to add snaps onto their nylon nato straps in order to add a cover. This enabled them to protect their watches and also black out the dial when running night ops. One piece of kit unique to early SEAL Teams in Vietnam was a simple watch strap and leather cover. This cover can shield the watch crystal from abuse, assist in obscuring the reflection of the crystal and black out the lume during night ops.
Fast forward to 2025 and nobody has improved the snap cover strap til now.
Waterproof and basically indestructible our straps are a huge improvement.
We’ve added 2 sliding snaps in order to allow the cover to be used on any strap.Handmade in Texas. LIMITED STOCK. This is a combo set for one TOPO strap and one TOPO snap cover.
